Button Buddies Meets Sweet Shop Designer Paper

Hi Stamping Friends,

I'm so happy to have some time to do a bunch of stamping!  I apologize for the lack of project posts.  Here's a card I'm sending for Mother's Day to some special people.  It's inspired by this sketch from Technostamper's Blog.

The card base is Wisteria Wonder card stock.  This is the softest, prettiest lavendar...just yummy!  The next layer is Whisper White card stock that has been run through the Big Shot using the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder. 

The two rectangular elements are Pool Party card stock (another awesome In Color) that is also run through the Big Shot using the Snow Burst Embossing Folder.  The second piece is from the Specialty Designer Series Paper called Sweet Shop.

The flowers are from the stamp set, Button Buddies.  These are stamped on Whisper White card stock using Wisteria Wonder and Pool Party Classic Inks.  They're punched using the 1-3/4" Scallop Circle Punch and sponged around the edges.  These are attached with Stampin' Dimensionals.

The greeting is from the Hostess Set, Happiest Birthday Wishes.  It's stamped in Lucky Limeade on Whisper White.  The ends are snipped with my Paper Snips and attached using Stampin' Dimensionals. 

A Wisteria Wonder 3/8" Ruffled Ribbon bow is attached using a Mini Glue Dot and you're finished. 

I love, love, love these colors together.  They are part of the current In Color Collection and will be available for the next year.  You will see five new In Colors in the new catalog that will be available for two years.

Unless otherwise specified, SNAIL Adhesive is used.

Take a look at all the other cute images in the Button Buddies stamp set.  I used the Clear Mount version and Clear Block "D" will accomodate all the images in the set.
