Cool Treats For James Meets FMS #279

Hi Stamping Friends,

Wow! I cannot believe how long it has been since I last posted!! Please forgive my absence. We have been doing a lot of traveling lately, not to mention being hit with a cold/flu like illness which had both of us down for the count. I had not been in my studio for a couple of months, until yesterday. There’s nothing like impending grandkids’ birthdays to get the mojo going again. I will have another post tomorrow, updating all that is going on with Stampin’ Up!

The Cool Treats stamp set and coordinating Frozen Treats Framelits Dies are the best deal going in the Occasions catalog! The stamp set alone has 36 photopolymer stamps – 36!! The framelits have 17 dies included! These can be purchased individually or as a Bundle. As you probably know, purchasing the bundle saves you 10% off the cost. So, for $48.50 you get 37 stamps and 17 dies! It just amazes me!

While cruising around the web for inspiration, I came across the weekly sketch challenge on Freshly Made Sketches. Click HERE to see it. I used the Cool Treats Bundle, as well as the coordinating Tasty Treats Specialty Designer Series Paper. The ice cream colors coordinate with the colors in the the designer paper. But, you can use whatever colors you have on hand. I added Clear Wink of Stella to the “hot fudge”. The spoon is cut from a scrap of Silver Foil sheet, but again, you can use whatever you have on hand, or die cut white and color with a marker.

Don’t think this set is just for kids. I know many adults who love ice cream and would enjoy an “ice cream” themed card. Or how about a scrapbook page focusing on a trip to the ice cream parlor?

Hope you like it! Click on any image to see a larger, more detailed view. If you decide to purchase online, and your order is under $150.00, please enter the March Host Code below in the appropriate box on your shopping bag page.

Sale-A-Bration will be over in less than 2 weeks! Hard to believe. If you would like to take advantage of the FREE products, be sure and check out the publications below. Remember, for every $50 in merchandise, you can choose a FREE item from the two Sale-a-Bration Brochures. Note: We have exhausted our supply of item number 143833, which is the Card Tin and it will no longer be available for redemption.
