Hi Stamping Friends,
Today I'm sharing a card from my July classes. I was inspired by this card by Lynn Weiss. I fell in love with the beautiful focal image. I used a different stamp set, changed direction and added a Very Vanilla embossed layer. This uses the shadow technique. I stamped the branch image, first in Early Expresso, and then in Versamark. Using the Stamp-a-ma-jig, I first lined up the image and then shifted slightly up and to the left before stamping with the Versamark. You may need to go back with a marker to darken up the shadow a bit, but that's a personal preference.
Supplies Used by Mary
I know this looks like a huge list of supplies, but a lot of the products I used are general supplies already on hand. Remember, you can always use different colors, different stamps, different (or no) embossing folder. Make it your own. You can even stamp and emboss the image and then use a marker to create the shadow.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email me. I really appreciate you stopping by to read my blog and would love for you to leave a comment below so I know who is visiting.
See you next time!
