Today I'm sharing a card we made in class this month. I used the Love is Kindness stamp from the Occasions Catalog, as well as the Dictionary Stamp. The image is stamped in Momento's Tuxedo Black Ink and colored using Stampin' Up!'s fabulous Blendabilities in Wisteria Wonder and Wild Wasabi.
I made a decorative edge on the top of the tag. The tag piece is 2-1/2" wide. I slipped the top of the tag through and under one of the Deco Label framelits. The bottom edge is on top of the framelit.
You are only going to roll the platform through until the top edge is cut and back it out again. You don't want to roll the platform all the way through or you will get the impression of the framelit on the tag. You can do this technique with other framelits or punches as well. Use a punch or one of the little framelits from the Chalk Talk framelits to make the hole to thread the ribbon through. Tie it off with Old Olive Baker's Twine, add some dimensionals and attach to the card front. Add three tiny pearls and you're done!
The layer beneath was stamped with the Dictionary Background stamp. I stamped off first for a more subtle look.
