Hi Stampers!
How was your Thanksgiving?
I needed to make a sympathy card and decided to CASE (copy & share everything) one of my own. For some reason, the photo is showing the colors much more intense than they are in real life. The card base uses Always Artichoke card stock. Next, is a layer of Dusty Durango card stock. The next layer is Always Artichoke and has been embossed using the Big Shot and Texture Plates Kit #4. Click on the photo for a closer look. A piece of Dusty Durango Polka Dot Grosgrain ribbon is wrapped around to the back of the two layers with the solid back side of the ribbon showing. A small piece of ribbon was slid under the wrapped ribbon and tied in a single knot. This is a much easier way to add ribbon and a knot AND you save on ribbon, too!
Eastern Blooms is the stamp set I used. The main image is colored using Stampin' Write markers in Always Artichoke and Brocade Blue and stamped on Whisper White card stock. The greeting is from Teeny Tiny Wishes and stamped in Always Artichoke. This panel is layered on Dusty Durango card stock and Bordering Blue card stock. The bottom edge of the Bordering Blue is torn.
The three flowers are colored using Brocade Blue, Bashful Blue and Dusty Durango Stampin' Write markers and stamped on Whisper White card stock. I used my Paper Snips to cut each one out. These are attached using Stampin' Dimensionals, as is the entire focal element.
Here is that card I CASEd.
