Hi Stamping Friends,
This is my second post for today. Scroll down to see the Weekly Deals and special update on the Butterfly Thinlits.
I took a big step today! I know many of you have been experiencing the same feeling of apprehension over what I did today. I cut into this beautiful 12" x 12" sheet of Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper. After seeing posts by Patty Bennett and Cindee Wilkinson, I knew I could do it. This sheet would look gorgeous on its own in a nice frame, too. You can do both, since you get two of these sheets in the package.
So, here is the first card I made. This piece uses the upper left corner. Before cutting, I took a little off the top and the bottom edges and then cut vertically every 4". Next, I cut up from the bottom edge of the strip - 5-1/4"; and then again another 5-1/4". This gives you 6 - 5-1/4" x 4" pieces.
I added the birthday greeting from the Butterfly Basics stamp set in Blackberry Bliss and used my So Saffron Marker to color a few of the blocks on the long strip from the same set. I added a few Rhinestones randomly and mounted on Blackberry Bliss card stock.
