Northern Frost Wreath

Hi Stamping Friends,

Here's a card I made for two challenges...ColourQChallenge#113 and Stampin' Queens Sketch Challenge 15.  Click the links to check out both.  All supplies used are © Stampin' Up!  In order to have more time to create projects to show you, I will be paring down the amount of information I write about.  I will give you the Supply Lists and if you have any questions about how something was created, please don't hesitate to email me.

The colors used starting with the base are Sahara Sand, Whisper White, Night of Navy, Marina Mist and Bashful Blue.  I used the Snowburst, Square Lattice and Perfect Polka Dots Embossing forlders on the Blues.  The wreath is made with Snowflakes die cut using the Northern Frost Sizzlits Strip die and adhered to a Whisper White wreath I made using punches.  I sponged Bashful Blue Classic Ink and then Frosty White Shimmer Paint on the snowflakes.  The centers are Silver Glimmer Paper.

The bow is made from 1/8" Marina Mist Taffeta Ribbon.  The greeting is from Teeny Tiny Wishes. Click on the images for a larger view.

Punch Bunch Owl ATC

Hi Stamping Friends,

Here's the last of my ACT cards using Sale-A-Bration freebies.  This one features the Owl from the Punch Bunch stamp set.

The card base is Melon Mambo Textured card stock.  I am really loving textured card stock.

The ATC has a base of Daffodil Delight card stock cut 2.5" x 3.5".  The Whisper White card stock layer is cut 2-3/8" x 3-3/8".  I used one of the patterns from the Ice Cream Parlor Designer Series Paper along the bottom.  I wrapped a piece of ribbon from the Ribbon & Button Pack along the seam line and tied a knot.

The owl is stamped in Melon Mambo classic ink on Whisper White card stock.  This image is punched using the Two-Step Owl Extra-Large Punch.  It's popped up using Stampin' Dimensionals.

The branch is from the Two-Step Bird Extra Large Punch and uses Old Olive card stock. It's adhered to the Whisper White using Multi-purpose Liquid Glue.

The ATC is also attached to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.

The greeting is from the stamp set, Teeny Tiny Wishes.  It's stamped in Old Olive classic ink on Whisper White card stock and punched using the Word Window Punch.  It is layered on a Modern Label Punch out in Daffodil Delight card stock.  A coordinating button from the Ribbon & Button Pack that is threaded with Crochet Thread is attached with a Mini Glue Dot.  Stampin' Dimensionals pop this up, too.

Simple Sweet Summer ATC

This is the third in my series on Artist Trading Cards.  I'm using the beautiful little vine stamp from the Sale-A-Bration set, Sweet Summer.

The card base is Whisper White card stock.  I've torn and layered a piece of the Ice Cream Parlor Designer Series Paper, also from the SAB catalog.

The ATC starts with a base of Old Olive card stock - 2.5" x 3.5".  The Whisper White card stock measures 2-3/8" x 3-3/8".  I stamped the vine from Sweet Summer in Old Olive Classic Ink and used a Blender Pen and the Old Olive to fill in the leaves.  I used the Melon Mambo Stampin' Write Marker to color in the berries.  If using the Clear Mount stamp set, Clear Block "C" will fit all the images in the set.

I stamped the butterfly from the same set in Basic Gray Classic Ink and colored in using a Blender Pen and Peach Parfait Classic Ink.

The left side is layered with a strip of the same Ice Cream Parlor Designer Series Paper used on the card front and Melon Mambo card stock that has been punched with the Scallop Edge Border Punch and attached with SNAIL Adhesive.

A coordinating button from the Ribbon & Button Pack is threaded with Crochet Thread and tied in a little bow.  This is attached to the card using a Mini Glue Dot.

The little greeting is from the stamp set, Tiny Tags.  I used the Basic Gray and Melon Mambo Stampin' Write markers to color, then stamped on Whisper White.  It's layered on Melon Mambo card stock and attached with SNAIL.  The ATC is attached to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.

Sweet Summer ATC

Hi Stamping Friends,

Here is my next card using an Artist Trading Card as the focal image.  This one also uses a stamp from the Sale-A-Bration Catalog as well as some Designer Series Paper and Quick Accents.

The card base is Pacific Point card stock.  The next layer is Whisper White card stock that has been embossed using the Petals-a-Plenty Embossing Folder and the Big Shot.

On to the ATC...the base is Pacific Point card stock and measures 2.5" x 3.5".  The next layer is Whisper White card stock measuring 2-3/8" x 3-3/8".  I measured the height of the designer series paper and marked this on the Whisper White card stock. 

I stamped the stems from the Sale-A-Bration stamp set, Sweet Summer, in Old Olive Classic Ink. I added two flowers and circles from the Quick Accent Pack.

I attached the Ice Cream Parlor Designer Series Paper using SNAIL Adhesive.  I added a strip of the blue scalloped die cut also included in the Ice Cream Parlor Designer Series Paper & Quick Accent Pack.  The ATC is attached to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.

I added three buttons in coordinating colors that have been threaded with crochet thread.  The buttons are from the Sale-A-Bration Ice Cream Parlor Ribbon & Button Pack.  These are attached using Mini Glue Dots.

This card took less time to make than it did to write this post...lol.  All supplies are from Stampin' Up! with the exception of the crochet thread.  This would make a great get well/thinking of you card with it's bright cheeriness.  I hope you will give Artist Trading Cards a try.  They are fun and easy!

Punch Bunch Baby Card

I've been playing with my Sale-A-Bration freebies this week!  I've been wanting to try Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) for a long time.  I'll be sharing a series of ATCs made into cards for the next few posts.  I think this will be a great way to a. have focal images set to go when I need to make a quick card; and b. to make set samplers to showcase all (or most) of the stamps in a set.  What do you think?  Good idea, huh?

This one uses the baby mobile image from the Punch Bunch Sale-A-Bration stamp set.  I used Baja Breeze and Daffodil Delight Stampin' Write Markers to color the stamp.  This is stamped on Whisper White card stock and punched out using the Large Tag Punch.  It is matted on Baja Breeze card stock that was punched using the Extra Large Tag Punch.

Now for the ATC.  A small piece of Elegant Soiree Designer Series Paper is attached to the bottom portion of Whisper White card stock.  A bow of 1/8" Daffodil Delight Taffeta Ribbon is placed along the top edge of the DSP and wrapped to the back, before layering on a 2.5" x 3.5" piece of Daffodil Delight card stock.  The tag is attached using Stampin' Dimensionals. 

The card body is Whisper White card stock.  The front has been embossed using the Framed Tulip Embossing Folder from the Occasions Mini Catalog.

The ATC is layered with Dimensionals on Whisper White card stock that is embossed using the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder.  This is layered on Baja Breeze card stock.  These elements fit very nicely inside the frame of the Embossed Tulip Frame.  And to think this all started with a 2.5" x 3.5" piece of Daffodil Delight card stock.  Isn't this a perfect baby card?
