Hi Stamping Friends,
Today's card is the result of a case challenge over on SUDSOL. They provide an inspiration photo from our demonstrator magazine and we make our interpretation of it. Here is mine.
The card base is Whisper White card stock. I stamped the lobster from the new stamp set, By the Tide, in Jet Black Stazon. I used a Blender Pen and Midnight Muse, Early Expresso and just a touch of Tangerine Tango Classic Inks to color it in.
The greeting is from Perfectly Penned and is stamped in Midnight Muse ink.
I ran a strip of Midnight Muse card stock through the Big Shot using the Large Scallop Edgelit. I used the leftover piece (I guess you'd call it the negative piece) because it looked like waves, added a tiny strip of Tangerine Tango card stock and some Jewels Basic Rhinestones and it's done!
It may seem odd to some, but I chose Celebrate Today as my greeting because lobster has always been my choice for a celebratory meal (YUM!). :o)
I think this is one of the best beachy/sea shore related stamp sets Stampin' Up! has ever come out with. I LOVE it! I think I'll be using this a lot. I have another, but we're making it in class and I don't want to spoil it for those who haven't made it yet. Check out the other images included.
