Hi Stampers,
Here's a card a made for a challenge on SUDSOL, a Demonstrator webstie. We were given a sketch and this is my interpretation of it. I wanted to use my often neglected Bold Brights* card stock. The card base uses Brilliant Blue card stock. Next, a layer of Whisper White was embossed using the Big Shot and the Perfect Polka Dots folder from the new Occasions Mini catalog.
The next element includes Only Orange topped by Brilliant Blue and finally, Whisper White card stock.
I used the Stars #2 Original Die and the Big Shot and die cut stars in Only Orange, Brilliant Blue and Yoyo Yellow card stock.
Happy Birthday is from the stamp set, On Your Birthday, and is stamped on Whisper White using Brilliant Blue Classic Ink. This is layered on Brilliant Blue and Only Orange card stock. A Brilliant Blue brad from the Bold Brights collection attaches the greeting flag to the center layers. I used my Paper Snips to trim the end.
Assorted colors of stars are attached using Stampin' Dimensionals. SNAIL adhesive is used to adhere the rest of the layers.
* Did you know that you can buy assorted packs of the color families? With the four major color families, assorted packs contain 36 sheets of card stock, 3 of each of 12 colors. It's an economical way to try out the different colors to see which ones you would like more of. The Item number for Bold Brights is listed below in the supplies. All supplies used are © Stampin' Up!
