Here's a set of 3" x 3" mini cards and a tote to hold them. All supplies are © Stampin' Up!®. The tote and card bases are made using Soft Suede Textured card stock.
The tote measures 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" x 1-3/4". I used a pattern from the Demo side of the Stampin' Up! website. The front and back are layered with a square of Designer Series Paper from the Autumn Traditions collection. The images are from the stamp set, Pocket Silhouettes, and are stamped on Very Vanilla card stock. The colors I used are Always Artichoke, Soft Suede, More Mustard and Dusty Durango. The edges are distressed using the tool from the Cutter Kit and sponged using a Dauber and More Mustard Classic ink. The back side of the Dusty Durango Polka Dot Grosgrain ribbon is wrapped and secured with Mini Glue Dots. A faux button tied with Linen Thread is also attached using a Mini Glue Dot. I used the Crop-A-Dile to add Antique Brass Jumbo Eyelets on the sides to thread the twine through. Rope Twine is knotted at each eyelet to create a handle.
The 3" x 3" cards each have a piece of the same Designer Series Paper from the Autumn Traditions collection on the front. A Very Vanilla panel stamped with assorted designs from Pocket Silhouettes in various color combinations is also distressed and sponged like the front panel of the Tote. A narrow strip of More Mustard and/or Dusty Durango card stock is stamped with a greeting from Pocket Silhouettes or Teeny Tiny Wishes. One end is snipped in a "V". I used the Sizzlits Die Buttons #5 and the Big Shot to die cut buttons to embellish the strip. These are also threaded with Linen Thread. The insides have a Very Vanilla panel that has been stamped with one of the Pocket Silhouettes stamps in Soft Suede Classic Ink.
Because the Mini Square envelopes* are only available in Whisper White and I was using Very Vanilla as my light neutral, I opened one up to use as a template. I traced this onto a piece of Designer Series Paper included in the retired Juntos collection from last year's Spanish edition of the Idea Book & Catalog. They came out so cute!
A set like this can be made in any color or theme. It makes a nice little gift to have on hand. These little cards are so fast and fun to make. It's a great way to use up your pieces of card stock that are too small to make a full size card. Give it a try!
* Just a reminder that these will not be processed or delivered by the Postal Service. The same goes for the 4" x 4" Notes. I know it's tempting to stick a postage stamp on these cute little envelopes and drop them in the mail, but personal delivery is the way to go with these.
